Our Degree programmes are run under AAI-Deemed University and Diploma courses are run under Educational & Welfare Society registered under C.R Act Ministry of HRD Govt of India.

ABOUT UNIVERSITY

Allahabad Agriculture Institute Deemed University, one of the Premier Universities was established was in 1910, as a Department of Allahabad Christian College (presently known as Ewing Christian College). In order to obtain more academic freedom and strengthen the specialized programmed of teaching, research and extension, a proposal was submitted to the Ministry of human Resource Development, Government of India, on 31^st August 1994, for granting the Deemed University, status to the Institute. It was encouraging to learn about the report submitted by the visiting team to the commission that the institute has all infrastructural and academic means for granting the Deemed University status. On march 15, 2000, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, approved the recommendations of the University Grants Commission and declared Allahabad Agricultural Institute as Deemed University vide notification No. F.9-26/94-U dated ma 15, 2000.

Further, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC0 AN AUTONOMOUS Institution Of the university Grants Commission has in the year 2005, accredited the University. The Distance Education Education Programme of the University has been approved by the joint committee of UGC-AICTE-DEC, New Delhi. The university is also member of international Association of University (IAU) Paris, France.
